The program includes lots of fun activities in and out of FPT Hoa Lac Campus such as, City Tour, in-class lectures, and extracurricular activities.“We were welcomed”“Vietnam welcomed us with a wonderful weather, cool breeze and light traffic. To tap that off, the campus which is located on the outskirt of Hanoi capital reassures us to have a comfortable stay” replied by Mr. Pau, a lecturer from NPRU when asked about his impression about Vietnam. The visitors were also warmly welcomed by FUers and have spent quality time together after class, almost every night. They enjoyed the cultural exchange experience, such as traditional games and languages of each country. Volunteering to provide a guided tour, the students of our school surely showed a great sense of hospitality. They proudly introduce beautiful places in our country and had gone with them to let them experience the ancient atmosphere of the city first hand.“We had FUN classes!” Since the program is a study-tour, Thai students also had a chance to experience a student life in Vietnam. They studied English, Vietnamese, Physical Education and Project Management. “We were all surprised that our Vovinam teacher could speak Thai, which makes us comfortable and enjoy our physical education class.”, expressed by Auy a Thai student who studies English and Vovinam class. “Our English class fun too! Actually at first, I was afraid to know that Vietnamese teacher would give us lecture, but I was mistaken, though there were some difference in accent, she was easy to understand, helps us understand English better and have fun using it practically.” Said Por. Apple, a Thai student too, commented on her teacher, “I like my teacher giving us homework, and I love doing it after having fun with my Thai friends and Vietnamese friends. It helps me remember the lessons we had in class.”Summer’s hot, so why not get wet!“It’s quite colder when getting wet in here than in my country, but it’s definitely an unforgettable foreign Songkran experience I have ever had.” Shared by another Thai student named Ang. FUers had a chance to celebrate the biggest festival in Thailand, Songkran. In this festival people hurl buckets of water to each other believing that the water symbolizes purity and would cleanse oneself from bad thoughts and deeds of the past year. It’s an ideal thing to do in summer, to get wet!Since they become a part of this student exchange program, they officially become a member of a FPT family. As the host school, we are all glad to provide materials and make the most of the opportunities and challenges that come with hosting student to every Thailand’s fellow friends. Similarly, we expect that this is a valuable time for all of guesses and we are also grate to have had the chance to get familiar with their culture. FU is always ready to be your host with warm open arm.
